Zippy is a Global Kenyan Filmmaker who has been working in the industry for over a decade. She has worked on both fiction and Non-Fiction projects filmed in over 20 countries across continents - as a Producer/Director/Editor.
In 2013, Zippy co-wrote and co-directed a short Documentary, ‘a fork, a spoon & a KNIGHT’ with renowned Director Mira Nair – for MontBlanc / Tribeca Film Institute & The Nelson Mandela Foundation - that later became Disney’s feature film ‘Queen of Katwe’, where she worked as the 1st Assistant. Georgia Fernandes is currently studying architecture at Syracuse University, New York.
Georgia began writing scripts as a hobby during the pandemic. After realizing the impact film had on communities in Kenya and around the world, she wanted to create films that would do the same and make people think, feel, and imagine. Whereas some
stories create feel-good experiences- some are more of a raw insight into what it means to be a woman living in this world. After listening to true stories of the resilience and bravery that many young girls had, she knew she had to tell their story, and so Mercy was born.

Ian Fernandes is a former CEO of Mediamax Networks, and previously served as managing director of Nation Broadcasting and Digital and managing director of KTN.
Fernandes joined Mediamax in May 2014 from Nation Media Group where he was the Managing Director, Broadcast and Digital Divisions. Previously, he worked for KTN as Group Technical and Production Director between December 1993 and December 2004.
